Admission Process
Candidates will be intimated about the selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through their unique ID login page/application status page on the University website www.christuniversity.in. The selection process results will be declared within 72 hours after the selection process session is complete or announced by the university.

The selected candidates must process admission at the Office of Admissions, Central Block, Christ University within 3 working days of the declaration of the Selection results/as per the stipulated date and time mentioned by Office of Admissions.  Selected candidates should collect the fee challan from the Office of Admissions after processing admission and remit the annual fee at the South Indian Bank, Christ University Branch. The offer of admission will stand cancelled, if admission with fee payment is not processed within the stipulated date and time.

Admission will not be processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory original documents mentioned below; (The below given documents (original) should be submitted at the time of admission for purpose of verification).

  1. Original Class 10 (Mandatory).
  1. Class 12 Marks Statement, if candidate has appeared and passed the Class 12 examination in or before June 2016 (If Available).
  1. Class 12 Marks Statement, if candidate has appeared and passed the Class 12 examination in or before June 2015 (Mandatory).
  1. Transfer Certificate for all Students from the last qualifying institution (If Available).
  1. Migration Certificate from the last qualifying institution for Students from all other Boards except Karnataka PUC (If Available).
  1. One full set of Photostat copies of all the above mentioned documents. (Mandatory).
  1. Two Stamp size and two passport size photograph (Mandatory).
  1. The below mentioned fee in Demand Draft / Cash / Online Payment (Mandatory).
  1. Two Copies of the Demand Draft / Online Payment Receipt (In case Program Fee paid through DD / Online) (Mandatory).
  1. Candidate must print the South Indian bank account opening form attached with the E-Admission card, and carry the copy to process admission. Fields marked with (*) are mandatory. Affix 1 passport size photograph and 1 stamp size photograph in the space provided (Mandatory).
  1. For ISC and NRI candidates, the following additional documents have to be submitted:
    • Passport and Visa Details
    • Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner of Medical Council of India and
    • Resident Permit (RP) – (only for ISC candidates)

The University ID card is a smart card, which are both an ID card as well as a South Indian Bank ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fees payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places. Candidates are advised to collect the South Indian Bank account opening form along with fees challan and process it at the Bank branch within the University premises.

Candidates who fall under International student category (ISC), If selected, should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO/FRO) of the Local Police in Bangalore, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bangalore.

All International student category (ISC) candidates if studied in India should obtain an NOC from the previous qualifying institution.

Class commencement date and time will be intimated during the admission process for the   Academic Year 2016 - 17

Cancellation Process:
Cancellation will be based on UGC regulation F.No 6-1(7)/2006(CPP-I) which states “Should a student leave after joining the course and if the seat consequently falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admissions, the Institution must  return the fee collected with proportionate deductions on monthly fee and proportionate hostel rent, wherever applicable”.

Eligibility
Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Managment, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India or abroad.

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2016 may apply with their class X and class XI marks statment.

  • Candidates must report for the above selection process at least 30 minutes prior to the allotted time as stipulated in the selection process admit card.
  • Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process.
  • The candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.
  • Request for change in selection process dates and time will not be entertained.
  • Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link “Application Status" from the University website and print the same.
  • Please note that the preferred date for selection process will be allotted, subject to availability of slots.
  • Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.
  • The duration of the Entrance Test will be for 60 minutes.
  • Each Correct Answer carries 1 mark and each Wrong Answer carries -0.25
